AIMS

We aim to provide a happy, stimulating and secure environment where children can develop new skills to the best of their own individual abilities. We feel that when children are relaxed, safe, valued and having fun it builds their confidence and develops independence, social skills & general knowledge- thereby paving the way for their move to school. We wish to provide that vital link between home & school.

ADMISSIONS:

We have a minimum entry age of 2 years . Parents are advised to complete the enclosed admissions form as early as possible to place their child’s name on the waiting list. Please feel free to visit the setting prior to entry to familiarise the child with the surroundings, meet & observe the staff and children in session. Parents will be notified of a place the term before the child is due to start.
Our Rising 5 sessions are open to children attending during the academic year in which they will become 4 years of age. Demand for these sessions is very high and therefore priority is given to children already settled within the group. If places are still available, they will be offered to children on the waiting list. However, this will be dependent upon the child attending at least one term of other Pre-school sessions in order to become familiar with the staff, surroundings and other children.

FEES:

Fees are currently:

£15 per session for children aged 2 – 3 years.
£13 per session for children aged 3 & above.

In addition, there is a termly fee of £4 towards fruit.

Fees are reviewed regularly and are payable termly in advance. Fees must be paid even when your child misses sessions for any reason including sickness and family holidays.

We currently receive 3+ and 4+ Government funding – full details available on request. Please note that you are entitled to Government funding for a maximum of 15 hours per week for 38 weeks per academic year. However, at Bright Sparks, we are only open for a total of 33 weeks per academic year and therefore unable to offer you the maximum entitlement. We also receive 30 hours funding, Free for 2 Funding and Early Years Pupil Premium if your child is eligible.

Please note that funding can be shared between different settings.
